The Office of International Affairs (OIA) is co-ordinator, initiator and contact for all the activities of Shih Chien University with regard to the foreign affairs. We aim to assist university's international academic collaboration, facilitate the exchange of students and faculty members, and further the development of joint programs and the execution of projects that stimulate teaching and learning.

In close co-operation with the staff of the President's Office and the faculties among Schools, we take care of the international partnerships of universities from the conclusion of contracts, acquisition of new partners, application for projects and project management to the participation in international affairs and conferences.

The University has a dynamic program of collaboration with partner institutions in countries such as Britain, Finland, Netherlands, Germany, Canada, USA and Australia. We offer consultation and arrangements for our home exchange students to study abroad as well as the admission and social-cultural care of our foreign exchange students and visitors.

Students register in any sister institutions of Shih Chien University and major in fields which are related to fields of study in Shih Chien, are eligible to apply for our Exchange Program. Student will also have to meet all the entry requirements and be nominated as an exchange student in home institution.

We currently offer two programs for our international exchange students:

• International Business (Taipei Campus)
• Fashion Design (Taipei Campus)

The Application Form should be obtained from your home institution; it can also be downloaded from OIA website. Students should complete the application form and return it to the home institution, together with other required documents, which includes

• three passport-size photos
• one copy of official transcript
• two letters of recommendation
• a copy of passport

The closing dates for the receipt of applications are,

First Semester：end of May
Second Semester：end of November

After OIA receives students' application form, OIA will forward a copy to the department that the student applies for. Once the department accepts the admission, OIA will send the official acceptance letters both in Chinese and in English to students. Meanwhile, OIA will help to arrange accommodation and pick up service for exchange students.
